   New City School, Located in Dayton, OH, specializes in ADD and LD students.  We "jumpstart" struggling students with an intensive individual and small group learning envirionment.   New City School provides an atmosphere of success where students begin to recognize their own potential and strengthen their academic skills. This success increases self confidence and helps the student make the transition back to the traditional classroom.

   As a charter community school we do not charge tuition, but depend on donations and grants from the community to make up about a third of our costs. 

Success Stories

~My grandson attends a charter school for students with ADHD where the small teacher/student ratio is best suited for his needs. I’ve known and admired the school’s director for 3 years, and some of the same teachers have remained at the school for the length of time that I’ve been associated with the school.

Parents are encouraged to volunteer and be a part of the school’s activities for students. The staff is cooperative with parents and welcomes their interest in their student’s progress. My grandson has expressed a desire to continue at the same school and I am pleased that he is excited about a school where teachers exhibit the attitude that school is about students, their education and welfare.
